

Eddy Wai Chung Ng of Raleigh, passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 49. He was born on July 27, 1975 in Kowloon, Hong Kong, where he lived until he moved to North Carolina with his family as a young boy.
He graduated from East Carolina University in 1998, and was an avid follower of ECU football and baseball. During college he was active in the Baptist Student Union, and it was at ECU that he met his wife, Amy.
Eddy made a career for himself at Hazen, accomplishing the title of Associate after working there for 25 years.
Eddy was an active member of Greystone Baptist Church and was an avid volleyball player - finding 2 or 3 different evening volleyball games around the Triangle each week.
Most of all, Eddy loved his family deeply, his children were his greatest joys in life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Ng, and father-in-law, Bobby Lockamy.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amy (Lockamy) and children Aaron & Mia. He is also survived by his mother, Katharina Ng, and sister Ada Ng (Kam), and nephews Gabriel & Lucas; and brother-in-law Brian Lockamy (Beth) and nephews Justin (Anna), Andrew (Harper), and Tyler, his mother-in-law, Linda Lockamy, along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 4pm on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Greystone Baptist Church, 7509 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh. Visitation with the family will begin at 3pm.
In memory of Eddy, donations may be made to Aaron & Mia’s college fund in ℅ Amy Ng, or to the charity of your choice.
