Edna was born on October 26, 1947, in Blue Moon, Kentucky. She was the daughter of William and Minta Kidd. She was also preceded in death by her sister Tennessee Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of over 39 years, Robert E. Wooten Jr.; sons James David Burge of Nicholasville, Kentucky, William Lee Burge of Wilmore, Kentucky, and Robert Allen Burge of Wilmore, Kentucky; grandson Robert Allen Burge II of Nicholasville, Kentucky; sisters Jurlene Isaacs and Phoeba Case of Kentucky; and brothers Ed Kidd of Kentucky and Edgar Kidd and Alvie Kidd of Ohio.
Edna was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Raleigh in 1984. She was a massage therapist.
Edna’s life will be celebrated at a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024.
