Eleanor lived in Raleigh for over 20 years and still has family and friends in the area. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Joye and her son, Leonard Gordon.
She leaves behind her daughter, Christine Bermel, sister Jean Bohnenkamp, grandchildren, Peter Bermel, Laura Yurco and Chelsea Bermel and also a great-granddaughter, Cameron Yurco.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Paul’s Christian Church 3331 Blue Ridge Rd. Raleigh. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
