She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willis Askew Holding; sister ,Sally Young Whitaker and brother, Hugh Graham Young, Jr.
She is survived by her niece, Elizabeth Young Morgan and husband Brandon of Raleigh; nephew, Hugh Graham Young III and wife Kelly of New York; niece, Betty Clyde Holding Honeycutt and husband, Woody of Raleigh ; niece, Doris Holding Leitner and husband Mac of Rock Hill, SC; nephew, John N. Holding, Jr. and wife Jane of Raleigh; and brother in law, John N. Holding of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30th Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Homes Foundation or charity of choice.
