So many of my favorite childhood memories include Betty and her family.    We spent countless afternoons sitting around her kitchen table enjoying a snack and talking.  She was so warm and loving and generous.  She was always there to support my family and I couldn't have imagined having a more wonderful next-door-neighbor.  We all loved her and felt she was a part of our family.  She will truly be missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

Betty was like a grandma to my sister Jamie and me.  She came to all our soccer games and birthday parties.  She was such an integral part of our childhood and I have so many found memories of spending time with Betty and her family.  I will always remember all the holidays we spent together and all the fun times we spent at her house.  My childhood would not have been the same without Betty in it.  Thanks for all the love and memories.

Betty was the first person I met when I moved to Andover.  I had just lost my mother to cancer and I needed someone to love me, listen to me, and support me through this really sad time....it was Betty....it was Betty that first day and it was Betty everyday after....she was such an important part of my life....she was such a special friend... I could always count on Betty for ANYTHING. I love Betty and she will be deeply missed by all of us.

It was 1992 an unbelievably fantastic year for me. As an adoptee I discover I had a sister.  I met a soft spoken, warm, gentle, caring, and loving woman by the name of Betty. I also discovered for the first time in my life someone who looked a bit like me.  Oh and it gets better. My sister had six fabulous children, and that made me an uncle to Paul, Carol, Matt, Jen, Mary and John.  Wait it gets better, I now have six grand nieces and nephews, Julie, Bert, Monica, Rory, Nora, and big Jack.
Although we live on two different coasts, I got to be at Mary and Rich's wedding, my sister and Carol were at my wedding  to my sweet Sally who happened to be totally instrumental (while working in the adoption department of Catholic Charities) in finding my sister.
I had just the best time being with my sister at a beautiful beach house on the outer banks. My sister made me smile, laugh gave great hugs and she will always be in my heart. I look forward to celebrating her life with family and friends.

Dan and I are so grateful to have found Betty, Dan's loving and welcoming sister.  She is truly a gift to Dan's life.  My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you.  Sally
