I did not know Elizabeth but watched her while she made appearances on tv for her former husband John Edwards.  I have never seen such a woman, an absolute lady, who handled what they were going through with the grace and beauty that this woman and lady did.  She was a great example to all of us on how to handle ourselves in so many difficulties.  She was an absolute Southern woman and lady of grace and beauty inside and out.



I thought a lot about you as my wife, Pat, was going through her battle with stage 4 breast cancer. She succumbed before you.

I never knew  Elizabeth Edwards, but I wish I could have had her as a friend, as she was an inspiration to me on how she accepted life as it was dealt to her and continued to live life as usual, loving her children, etc.

Her light and love will live on in each of those who knew and loved her.

The world will never be the same without such a wonderful lady.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I too, lost my mother at 26 and I had a 9 year old sister who took me as her mother.  Please know many people are keeping you in our prayers.

I just read Elizabeths first book and I wish I had known her before.  My deepest sympathy to all her family, especially the kids.  May God richly bless each of you and always know what an awesome Mom you had.

From a distance, Elizabeth Edwards was a person of outstanding accomplishments, but what stands out is her courage and compassion. She left the world better than she found it and "made a difference" in the lives of all she touched..., even those of us who only saw and heard her from a distance. The company of good and honorable people has lost a paragon of human dignity with her passing.

I know how it feel because I lose my Dad from lung cancer(7) seven years and their isn't a day that I don't think about him, and other people who lose their lives from cancer too.

I can't get your mom out of my mind. May she rest in peace and pain free, I loved her dearly.
