I remember how nice you were. We hung out once and when I left you and Barbara stuffed those yummy shots in my car seat and told me to go home and continue to party. This is a shock to me. I was just telling my bo about this happy memory a few days ago. This was a memory that warmed my heart. You are going to be missed by so many people. You touched a lot of hearts here. Never forgotten.

I retired from NCDOT in 2012, but while I was there Elizabeth was always so helpful to me when I needed something notarized. She always made me smile. I was sorry to hear of her passing.

Dear Kerry , Family and Friends,
We deeply grieve your loss. Although I did not know Elizabeth she clearly was a remarkable person. Kerry - we enjoy who you are, all you do at NC State and for the friendship and camaraderie we share. We wish you strength during this time and may you find strength in your family and communities of people.

Oh, Elizabeth, my heart is broken. I taught you physics and you taught me how to be a friend. You were the truest friend, most faithful and brave. My life has been graced by your presence. My prayers and sympathy for your family and all those that love you.

Elizabeth, you were a tough as nails lover of family (esp. Don & Lola), and close friends.
To squeeze the most out of life, you rose early to tend to your animals, spent the day tending to NCDOT, and spent evenings and weekends tending to family, friends, and of course…more animals.
Rest In Peace Ms. Honeycutt….until you can find more to tend to over there.

Elizabeth was always a very positive person no matter how hard she was fighting the disease that took her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I know she will be missed, but she will live on through the memories we have of her.

Elizabeth has been a very special friend to me...we met at Zumba class and she immediately became my mentor. Man she made it look so easy. For the past year we spent a lot of weekends at yardsales..antique warehouses..flea markets...I trusted her opinions as she would critique my crafting from pictures I would text her. I will miss you dear friend. I will forever remember our good times.

Elizabeth took care of our horses for many years. She was our farm manager and always went above and beyond to be certain that our kids had the best of care. She was tough as nails and funny as all get out. Her love of our horses, dogs and cats was unrivaled. Our hearts are broken. You fought with such grace. Rest In Peace Elizabeth. We love you.
