Eugene "Gene" Kuhar

Gene served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Florida, and worked at IBM, as an electrical design engineer. He was a member of Sigma Tau Fraternity. Above all, he was a wonderful husband and best friend for over 61 years, and a proud father to his dear daughters.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sarah Kuhar; his daughters, Julie Ann Kuhar, of Atlanta, GA, Jacqueline Campbell and husband Michael, of Denver, CO, and Jennifer Michelle Kuhar, of Burlington, VT. He will also be deeply missed by his precious grandchildren, Jeffrey White and Carson R. Campbell; and great granddaughter, Samantha A. White.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister and brother.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday July 29, from 4-6:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday July 30, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
