

Frances was a lifelong resident of Raleigh. She was a graduate of Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA. She was a member of First Baptist Church, serving in many capacities from Sunday school teacher to deaconess, and active in various ministries throughout the years.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Julian Russell Nipper in 2004 and two brothers Bill and Ed Wyatt.
She leaves behind her two daughters: R. Fleenor of Richmond, VA, and Susan Kay and her husband Bruce of Storrs, CT; 5 grandchildren: Krista Reynolds, Kara Price, Joshua Price and wife Melissa, Zoey Kay and Jonathan Kay; 3 great-granddaughters Joliana Reynolds, Cheyenne Reynolds and River Bachand Price and her sister Catherine Hudson of Raleigh.
A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday May 21, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 300 Saint Mary’s St. Raleigh. A graveside service will be held 9:00 am at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday May 22, 2015 at First Baptist 99 N Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27603 Family will receive guests following the service in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
