Mrs. Underhill was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. During her life she was a loving caregiver of her brother, sister and husband.
She is survived by her son, Tim Underhill and wife, Elsie of Clayton; grandson Chad Underhill and wife, Michaela of Garner; granddaughter Amy Holding and husband Greg of Garner; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Leon Underhill; grandson Timmy; three brothers and a sister.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street.
Funeral service will be held at 11am in the Wynne Center at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wake County SPCA , 200 Pet Finder Ln., Raleigh, NC 27603 and Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Cir., Raleigh, NC 27607.
