Born and raised in Taiwan, Eddie served as a master diver in the Taiwan Navy before immigrating to the US.
He leaves behind his wife of 38 years Selina Wang; his son, Brandon Wang, and his daughter, Kasarlina Wang; along with a loving extended family and many close friends.
Eddie was a family man genuinely committed to his wife, a hero to his children, a role model for his nieces and nephews, and an excellent friend to all who knew him. He loved playing jokes, basketball, Tetris and mahjong, swimming, eating noodles, watching Chinese soap operas, and drinking Coca-Cola. Eddie enjoyed a long career in the food industry as a chef. Even more than cooking for customers and the community, Eddie loved to cook delicious food for family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm Friday, February 12 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street Raleigh, NC 27605 where a Buddhist Ceremony will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
