Aunt Gaynelle was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was always so proud of her red hair. She didn’t have a hair stylist. Instead, Aunt Gaynelle chose to cut and pin curl her own hair. She was always “neat as a pin” in every regard. Her talents were many, but writing poetry seemed to be her favorite. And of course, she loved to wear her pretty hats out for the world to see. She wore them well.
I have all happy childhood memories of Aunt Gaynelle, Uncle Rick, Kelly and Randy. More than anything else Aunt Gaynelle loved her big family.
Rest In Peace, Aunt Gaynelle. You were loved by many. ♥️

Aunt Gaynelle always modeled southern hospitality, gentility, and graciousness. She leaves behind a beautiful family who will carry on her legacy as lovingly as they cared for her.
