Graham was born in Alexandria, Virginia and grew up in McLean, Virginia, where he lived a joyful childhood with his parents and brother, Rob Clements. He played Little League baseball as a pitcher and enjoyed fishing in the James River in Hopewell, Virginia with his grandmother. Graham graduated from McLean High School and received his accounting degree from East Carolina University in 1980. He began working at Koonce, Wooten and Haywood accounting firm in 1981 and became a partner in the firm where he worked for 42 years. He retired in 2024. Graham served as Treasurer of the Soup Kitchen of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church for 30 years. He was an avid saltwater fisherman and fished the Big Rock Tournament for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Clements and Katherine Graham Clements.
Graham is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Clements; sons: Graham Clements, Jr. and wife, Nicole Clements, and Bryant Clements and wife, Victoria Clements, and their children, Wyatt Clements and Wren Clements, as well as his brother, Rob Clements of Florida.
A funeral service for Graham Clements will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7th 2025, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612, with a reception following the service at the funeral home.
