

After completing 2 years at North Carolina A&T, he entered the workforce. He spent much of his adult life working in nursing and convalescent homes as Manager of Food Services in each, where his knack for leading, helping, and caring for others shone through. No matter what facility, Greg quickly became a fan favorite – not an easy task for a manager of any capacity.
Greg was a lover of music; he made compact discs for his family and friends from time to time was a disc jockey at house parties and clubs; known as DJ GO.
Though born in Brooklyn, Greg would frequently travel to visit friends and family to show that love and caring demeanor. Whether it’s to North Carolina or Georgia, or all points in between, it would not be a surprise for Greg to show up and say hello, and ask “what are we up to today?”. This love/affection for those around him was a hallmark of who Greg was as a person.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Daniel Earl (Annette) Outlaw; his children, Desmond Barnes, Andre Outlaw (Brianna), Nichelle Outlaw, adopted daughter Soraena Outlaw; 5 grandchildren Amauri Outlaw 13 Karson Outlaw 11, Vanessa Outlaw 10 ,Onyx Outlaw 5 months, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
