I met Helen when her daughter Stefanie and I were teachers at Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, TX. Helen was so very kind to me. When we talked she made me feel as if I was the most important person in the world. And she was an awesome Grandma. The kids adored her. My condolences to her family and friends.

Dear sweet Helen was a giving soul. From her earliest years to her retirement, she served in many areas of nursing, with compassion and dedication to her patients. She showed me you are never too old to learn and heighten in your profession, as she continued to educate herself in ways to help others. And she raised three beautiful children all the while. I am so happy she was able to spend time with her blessed family and grandchildren through her retirement years. Those are the real gems of life. She will be missed, but remembered with dignity and grace.

Helen was my nurse manager at the Waco VA. She was a great mentor. She showed kindness and compassion for her patients and her staff. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. I will keep her family in my prayers. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Helen was our neighbor on Madison Street in Iola when I was young and her kids were preschool age. I always remember her being such a nice person and always had a smile on her face. My condolences to her family.
