James Allen Arnold, Jr., 71, passed away on April 19, 2021 at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro, South Carolina. Born on July 12, 1949 in Frankfurt, Germany; he was the son of the late James Allen Arnold and Ernestine Ray Upchurch Arnold.
James worked in construction as a general contractor and enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, carpentry, reloading his own ammunition and shooting pool.
He is survived by his son: James Allen “Jim” Arnold, III and wife Karen, of Barnwell, SC; daughter: Kimberly Arnold Evans and husband Carroll Evans, Jr., of Eutawville, SC; grandchildren: Karrie Evans, of Moncks Corner, SC, Carroll Evans III and Cody Evans, both of Eutawville, SC and Joseph Arnold, of Barnwell, SC; great-grandchildren: Patrick Broad, Abby Escarsega, Shane Evans and Carroll Evens IV; brother: Robert Wagner, of Raleigh, NC; and by other family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Janet House and great-granddaughter: Malia Evans.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 26th at 11 am at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens in Raleigh, NC.
