James William Joiner, 87, passed away on August 15, 2026 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on August 9, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois; he was the son of the late Miles David Joiner and Miriam Kesler Joiner.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Craig Gaither, concluding with Military Honors.
