Jean Nordan Gregory

Raleigh- Jean Nordan Gregory, of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2013, after a long period of declining health. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne Gregory Browne, and husband, Micou, of Raleigh; son, Lee O. Gregory, III, of Glenrose/Dallas, Texas; special niece, Patricia Gregory Rand, and husband, Walter, of Raleigh, and their beloved daughter, Lucy; special nephew, James Barry Hylton, and wife, Angela (Nick and Sarah); Martha Luella Browne, Micou's sister; sister-in-law, Margieanne Gregory Suhling, of Lynchburg,Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews located throughout the U.S.Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lee O. Gregory, Jr., of Raleigh, who passed on February 28, 1980.A memorial service will be held in the Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum located at 701 Oakwood Avenue in Raleigh on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the beginning of the service, at 2:00 PM.
