She worked as a school teacher. She was actively involved in crafting, gardening, and attending sporting events and activities of her 5 granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothea McKaig, father Gill Raynor, and sister, Catherine Raynor Garner.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Strickland. Son, Gregory Arron Strickland and daughter in-law Kristi Strickland, granddaughters, Abby and Caroline Strickland. Daughter, Elizabeth Moretto and son in-law Thomas Moretto, granddaughters Hannah, Maggie, and Lilly Martin.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial followed in Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
