Jesse Ray Bruner

He retired from IBM after 30 years as a programmer, and served in the US Air Force. Jesse was an avid gardener and a member of the Master Gardeners.

Jesse leaves his memories with a son and daughter-in-law Chris and Lynn Bruner, grandson Alex Bruner, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Danny Robinson, sister-in-law’s Dora Bruner and Shirley Wyatt, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Bruner, son Ashley Bruner, brothers Johnny Bruner and Ronnie Bruner.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday May 16th 2026 and A Service of Remembrance will be held following at 1:30 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park (7209 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh).
