Jo Ann will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Bobby Wayne Qualls.
She is survived by her son, David Wayne Quall, Sr.; her grandson, David "DJ" Wayne Qualls, Jr., and his wife, Crystal Qualls; and her three beloved great-grandchildren, Heaven, Nevaeh and Cameron Qualls.
Jo Ann enjoyed taking trips, cooking, reading and doing artwork. She loved going to church and spending time with her grandson and great-grandchildren. Jo Ann loved her animals and will be missed by so many.
Visitation prior to the funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 4301 Louisburg Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604, US, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location beginning at 11:30 am. Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made in Jo Ann's name to New Hope Baptist Church.
