John Elden Bingham

John Elden "JEB" Bingham died on September 22, 2024 at Murdoch Development Center in Butner, North Carolina. JEB was born June 27, 1960, in State College, Pennsylvania, to William Louis and the late Annette Patton Bingham. JEB lived with his family in State College, PA; Nancy, France; Washington, DC; Raleigh, NC; Chicago, IL; and back to Raleigh, NC, and attended public schools through the sixth grade. In his adult years, JEB was a resident at Dorothea Dix Hospital (Raleigh), O'Berry Neuro-Medical Center (Goldsboro), and the Murdoch Development Center (Butner). JEB visited often with his parents and siblings through the years and is remembered for his love of animals and being in the presence of his family.

JEB was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Patton Bingham. He is survived by his father, William Louis Bingham; his brothers, William Allen (Cindy) Bingham and Marcel Daniel (Gail) Bingham; his sister, Nancy Lorraine Bingham; and his four nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on December 28th at 1 pm at Avent Ferry United Methodist Church.
