John Saunders Morrison

John was born in Greensboro, NC to the late John Hezekiah Morrison and Rachel Saunders Morrison. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of Myers Park United Methodist Church. John was a graduate of Wake Forest College and was employed in the banking industry retiring with over 35 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Morrison; son, Marty Morrison; and grandson, John Morrison.

John is survived by his sons, Tom Morrison and wife Betsy, and Bill Morrison; brother, Phillip Morrison and wife, Doris; grandchildren, Anna Morrison; Lauren Short and husband, Will; and Ted Morrison and wife, Melissa; and great grandson, Harrison Short.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
