Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Parker came into the world on January 14,1993. He was a constant delight to his parents and older brother, providing entertainment with his distinctive sense of humor and liveliness.
From a young age, Parker demonstrated natural athletic ability; excelling at tennis, swimming, and mastering all board sports with ease. At the age of five, Parker discovered his true passion when he received his first drum kit. Jam sessions in the basement with his brother blossomed into a lifelong love for playing music.
Parker was a graduate of E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Virginia. He attended The University of North Carolina, Asheville, as well as, Central Virginia Community College where he received his welding certificate. Parker became skilled in the electrical and HVAC trade which led him to Washington, DC and eventually Raleigh, North Carolina. Throughout this time Parker maintained a commitment to his music by playing as a studio session drummer, performing with various bands, and touring cities playing music of every genre.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Dorothy Stanley of Martinsville, VA and his grandmother, Gay Johnson Lundy of Alexandria, VA.
He is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Melissa; devoted brother, Zach; sister-in-law, Katie; Grandfather, Rocky Lundy; and many special uncles, aunts and cousins. All of whom will miss his bear hugs.
Parker cherished his family and friends. His kindness and compassion knew no bounds. We are absolutely heartbroken to have lost this magnificent, precious soul way too soon. His big beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.

There will be a celebration of life at 2:00pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 2424 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg Virginia 24503. A reception will follow the service at the church.
A celebration of life will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary's St., Raleigh.
