John Seluchins

John Seluchinsof Raleigh, NC passes away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the age of 83. He was born on February 19, 1940 in Riga, Latvia. At the age of 3, his mother took him and his identical twin, Andy, to Germany where they found safety in a displaced person camp. At the age of 10, his mother secured a safe passage to the US, settling in Toms River, NJ.

He graduated from Toms River HIgh School. A short time later he began working at Ciba Geigy Chemical Co. in Toms River, NJ and worked his way up to a supervisory position. In the late 1980's he began working in IT for the Army Research Lab in Fort Monmouth, NJ. In 1995 he was transferred to the Army Research Office (ARO) at RTP, retiring at the end of 2007.

He was actively involved in his church, music and family.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Telka and his identical twin, Andy.

He is survived by Nancy, his Wife of 61 years; Daughter, Donna Warnick (David); Son, Philip Seluchins (Renee); 5 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.

Family and Friends were invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Interment followed immediately after the Mass.
