Joseph Donald Brady

Joseph Donald Brady died in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 26, 2013. He was born September 17, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1997. Mr. Brady was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic church where he was an appointed member of the parish council. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War. He worked for IBM for 25 years in various assignments throughout the country. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1951 and served as Grand Knight as well as Faithful Navigator of the 4th degree.

Surviving are his beloved wife Marilyn of 61 years, Daughter Donnalynn Shirey Lader (Royce), Sons Kevin Joseph Brady (Suzanne), James Michael Brady (Eileen) and John Francis Brady. He had 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Vero Beach at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church (7550 26th St. Vero Beach, FL 32966) on Monday December 9th at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St John of the Cross Catholic Church in memory of Joseph Donald Brady.
