Lee was well liked by his many friends, who he enjoyed being with and entertaining at his home. He also loved outdoor activities with his friends: canoeing, snowboarding, horseback riding and horseshoes. Lee had served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and was in Korea a short time. He loved his family, friends, dog, Piper, and cat, Emma.
Lee's sister predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Heather Sedberry, his stepson, Corey Hagens, his parents, his brother, Reece Sedberry, all of Raleigh, and his aunt and uncle, Sally and J.P. Helms of Salisbury.
The family will receive friends at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 and a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
