OBITUARY
Lillian Jackson Glover
October 27, 1924 – January 15, 2021
Lillian Jackson Glover, 96, passed away on January 15, 2021 at Pruitt Healthcare in Raleigh. Born on October 27, 1924 in Harnett County; she was one of eight children of the late James Forest Jackson and Mary D. Jackson and wife of the late James Edward Sorrell and the late Clinton P. Glover.
Lillian was a loving mother, homemaker, wife and friend. She enjoyed working at Wake Medical Center as a CNA until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter: Jan S. Ellington, of Raleigh; grandson: Glenn "Eddie" Clifton and wife Gina and great-grandson, Scott E. Clifton and wife Brittany; by her two granddaughters: Tracey Waters and husband Van and great-grandsons, Travis and Christian; and Bridget Gary and husband Jeffery and great-grandsons, Tyler and Jaxon; and by her sister: Glenda Jackson Carson and other extended family and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her son: Bill E. Sorrell; daughter: Dedra "Dee" Williams; granddaughter: Connie Sue Clifton; and by her siblings: Dorothy Raso, Augustine Watts, Mary Alice Hunt, Gene Faison Jackson, James Edward Jackson and Walter Ferrell Jackson.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, January 27th at Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Dunn. For those unable to attend, a recording of the service will be posted afterwards on the Facebook Page of Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park.

Oh, how my family loved Ms. Lillian. We were always glad to have her visit. She was one excellent cook. My mother and she would sit and talk for hours. Jan, Tracy and Bridgett you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
