Linda Eller Goforth

She is survived by her children, Jerry Glenn Goforth, Jr (and wife Nancy) and Pamela Goforth Jackson (and husband David), five grandchildren, Erica Goforth Kent (and husband Jason), Grace Goforth Moss (and husband Christopher), Ian Goforth, Hope Goforth and Caleb Jackson, and five great- grandchildren, Lydia Kent, Mary Kent, Peter Kent, James Moss and Juliana Moss. She is also survived by three sisters, Vivian Williams, Willadean Elliott and Doris Dillon.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 60 years, Jerry Goforth.

Mrs. Goforth had varied work experience. She operated her own childcare center when her children were young. Later, she was promoted to management positions with both Piedmont Corrugated and QuickStop.

She was a faithful Christian and a long-time member of Tri-City Baptist Church in Hickory, North Carolina. She loved her family and had many dedicated friends. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation for family will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Mitchell Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. For those unable to attend, Live Streaming of the service will begin at 2:25 pm through the Facebook Page of Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park.,
