Born on April 23, 1941, in The Bronx, New York. Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Jack and Isabel Harris.
Although small in stature, she was a larger-than-life presence who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. More than just a grandmother, Linda was lovingly known as “Baba” by her grandkids and the community, for she was a grandma to all. She loved spending time with her friends, The Hampstead Garden Club, and The Act II Club, as well as going to the beach, traveling, and watching Miami and UNC football. Most of all, though, she enjoyed watching her grandkids grow and supporting them in all of their activities.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey D. Karsevar; her parents; and her sister, Bettie.
She is survived by her devoted children, Norman (Sheila) Karsevar, Jennifer (Brian) Marshburn, and Jay Karsevar; and her four grandchildren, Jack Marshburn, Isabel Marshburn, Amelia Marshburn, and Sydney Karsevar, all of whom will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
