Lisa Sharpe Green, of Wake Forest, North Carolina, wife of Lee David Green, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1966, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Bob and Ruth Sharpe.
Lisa completed her Marketing Degree at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. She went on to a career in Business Management at UPS, and Marketing Sales at Lab Corp.
Lisa’s charm, grace and warm heart enabled her to retain lifelong friends and make new friends easily. She placed great value in those close friendships. Lisa also had deep affection for her granddaughter Kyleigh and visited with her often.
Lisa frequently shared stories about time spent with her grandparents as a child. Her grandparents had a small country store with one gasoline pump. Lisa’s jobs there included pumping gas and fighting off the hens so she could collect their eggs to be sold in the store.
Lisa was also an avid South Carolina Gamecocks and Pittsburgh Steelers fan all her life.
Lisa loved to entertain at her home in Wake Forest and at her lake house on Lake Gaston, where she created many lasting memories.
She is survived by her husband, Lee; her daughter, Savannah; granddaughter, Kyleigh; brother, Rick and his wife, Susan; sister, Debbie and her husband Danny Peagler, as well as Lee’s children, Jon and Sara Green.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Bobby Sharpe Jr. and her son Kyle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, US, on September 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Reception will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, US, on September 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
