Louis Anthony Pagliuso

Louis Anthony Pagliuso, 82, passed away on August 23, 2011 surrounded by family at the Hospice Home of Wake Co., Raleigh, NC. He was born on May 4, 1929 in Everett, MA to his parents, the late Anthony and Theresa Santosuosso Pagliuso.

A graduate of Boston College, Lou taught high school sciences for over 30 years. He enjoyed dancing, swimming, cruising and gardening. Lou was a handyman extraordinaire, and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by Joanne Grover, his loving partner of 20 years; his daughter Gina Pagliuso of Urbana, IL; son Anthony Pagliuso and wife, Revital, of Newton, MA; stepchildren Laura Grover, of Raleigh, NC, and Kevin Grover and wife, Dresden, of Oak Ridge, NC; his dear grandchildren Lia, Shiri, and Dana Pagliuso, and Jason and Sean Grover; his sister Anita Falzone and husband, Charles, of Norwalk, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday August 25, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh. The family will receive friends prior to the Mass from 3:00 – 4:00 pm in the church parlor. Burial will take place on Saturday August 27, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607, in memory of Lou. The children would like to thank Joanne, for her constant support and care during Lou’s illness.
