She is lovingly remembered by her nieces, Ann Fields and husband Dan, Amy Fariss and husband T, Cathy Cortina, Chrissy Cortina and husband Jeff Crews; nephews, Tony Cortina and wife Linda Kimbell and Michael Cortina, as well as her many friends. Lucy retired from Abbot Labs.
The funeral service and prayers were held at 11:00 am on Wednesday March 28, 2012, at Mitchell Funeral Home, Raleigh. Burial followed at Raleigh Memorial Park.
