Ann and Micky, I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Margaret’s passing. She always made my day when I would see her every morning as I delivered reports to Senior Management at CP&L. We would talk about your dad and the fun times we had at the many Postal meetings/conventions where our parents met years ago. She loved to laugh and made those around her laugh too.  I live in Raleigh now and ironically work at Needham Broughton HS. 

Margaret absolutely lit up the room wherever she went. Her bubbly, infectious joy in everything sparked the same in all around her. After my dad passed away, Margaret, also a widow, was my mom’s partner in crime and best friend. You couldn’t ask for any better! The two spent much time in the kitchen at church, visiting church members in Assisted Living facilities and serving others whenever possible. They were affectionately called M&M as my mom is also a Margaret. Their friendship was special and lasting even though their health failed.  Our family will always cherish that friendship and love Margaret had for us and most everyone she met.
