
Marjorie graduated from Sussex High School, attended Russell Sage College, and received her B.S. in Nursing from St. Francis University in Brooklyn, NY. She began her career at Franklin Hospital in NJ and then joined the staff at Maimonadies Hospital in Brooklyn, working in the emergency room and the ambulatory pediatric ward until her retirement.
Marjorie was known for her thoughtfulness, generosity and kindness. She was passionate about her nursing career. She had a unique sense of humor, was fiercely independent and loved to travel internationally.
Marjorie is survived by her sister, Margaret Jeanne Keyes Youngson of New York; brother, Kenneth W. Keyes and his spouse Judith of Raleigh, NC; niece, Lisa England, her spouse Scott England, and sons Andy and Josh of Raleigh, NC; nephew, Kevin Keyes, his wife Dana, and his son Tyler of Hope, NJ.
A private memorial service will be held in Florida at a later time.
