Martha Lacy Landis Powers Deane, age 90, of Richmond VA, died December 7th, 2020 in Raleigh NC. Born in Oxford, NC August 20th, 1930. Married in Oxford Presbyterian Church to George Richard Powers of Henderson NC, who is predeceased. She raised her family in South Hill, Va as a member of the First Baptist Church of South Hill.
She is survived by her three children, Martha, Georgiana, and David, and her grandchildren, Landis and Jonah. She was known to her friends and family as "Monkey" and a lover of fine arts, and a piano player. She will be beside her husband, Clayton Deane, of Richmond VA.
