Born on January 14, 1947, in Raleigh, she was the daughter of the late Micou Farrar Browne and Katherine Metcalf Browne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Micou Metcalf Browne.
Martha Lu lived most of her life in Raleigh and was a graduate of Peace College.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Anne Gregory Browne, who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 26th at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27601.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her memory to First Presbyterian Church, 112 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27601.
Brown-Wynne, 300 Saint Mary's St., Raleigh, is serving the Browne family.
