He is lovingly remembered by his parents, his dear children; Ashley, Megan, and Christopher. He is predeceased by his brother Greg.
Marty enjoyed NASCAR, riding his motorcycle, and four wheeling with his children. He was a member of Creedmoor Baptist Church. He was a dedicated father and son and will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Virgilina Cemetery, Halifax Co., Virginia.
