Ottis, Bill and Edith,
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I will always remember her as a fixture of Gates County's Home Demonstration and 4-H Clubs. She served the community well and will be missed. I remember the last time I saw her. It was at one of my Mom's last bridge clubs that she hosted when I was home for a visit in 2004. She was just as spry as ever.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

Blessings and prayers to you, and know my heart is with you. My father recently passed, so I know you will be holding on to all the good, as that helps for now. Your mother was someone I loved to hear you speak about as your love and pride was obvious. My love to you, Edith and all the family...

My thoughts and prayers are extended to Mary's family. I had the pleasure of knowing Mary as a co-worker prior to her retirement and continued to enjoy time with her at various extension functions. I worked in Currituck while Mary was in gates county. I've missed seeing Mary these last few years when her health would not allow her to travel much. Mary always had a smile and kind words to share with others. She was a talented lady who helped many people throughout her career.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Mary. She was retired when I began working in Extension, but she was faithful to attend the district and state association meetings, and I always thought she was a real firecracker! :-) Please accept my condolences on her passing.
