Maryanne Elizabeth Holloway

She attended Millbrook High school located in Raleigh where she graduated in the class of 1968.

She worked doing auto salvage inventory at Wagner's Auto Salvage Inc.

Maryanne was a spunky & passionate woman. When she believed in something, she put her whole heart into it. She was a lover of all animals but especially her beloved dogs. She loved to search for the best deal she

could possibly find, some would say she was frugal. She enjoyed watching and reading about politics and having the occasional debate. Maryanne loved to spend time outdoors, whether it be working in her yard to make it a beautiful sanctuary or just relaxing in her hot tub. She also loved to find hidden gems at her local goodwill. The rest of her time she spent with her family, her dogs and her friends whom she would also consider her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carey Hamilton Holloway, Jr & Mary Willis Bain of Raleigh NC; brother Carey (“Bo”) Hamilton Holloway, III of Wake Forest NC; grandparents Carey Hamilton Holloway, Sr & Celestia Gladys Gulley of Raleigh NC; uncle John Stephen Holloway of Raleigh NC; And lastly her beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge.

She is survived by her son Stephen Lee Daves & daughter in-law Logan Cecil Daves of Graham NC; grandchildren Elainea Morgan Daves, Kamden Cole Summers & Clayton Daniel Daves all of Graham NC; and many friends.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their her days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Mitchell Funeral Home located in Raleigh NC on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM located at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh NC.
