Maya Devi, the pillar of the Manocha family, lived a resilient, connected, vibrant, and independent life. She designed and built our family home in Delhi, travelled throughout India with her children and grandchildren, and was passionate about learning new things like using WhatsApp and flower arrangements. Her eyes held an endless amount of love for all of us. Her smile brightened our lives and we will always look up to her as a strong and beautiful soul.
She’ll be remembered for her strong willpower and dedication. Dedication to raising family, dedication to faith, and dedication to being in a state of Chardi Kala (relentless optimism). She was an anchor for anyone lucky enough to know her. She was always there for us in times of joy and hardship. Her unwavering faith in Waheguru carried us through multiple phases of life. She was endearing in every way and she will always have a tender and big place in our hearts. We are thankful and blessed to be part of her family.
