Megan was born on February 15, 2001 in Michigan to Brian and Joan Beck. Throughout her school years, her hobbies reflected her energy and ambition, including swimming, soccer, cross country, basketball, band, and choir.
She attended Virginia Tech and was active in campus ministry and her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. Through ministry, she met her future husband, Patrick. She also met her friends Addie, Ashtyn, and Ginna in Blacksburg, and they lived together for three years. To them, she was more than a friend, but a sister in every way that mattered.
Megan graduated in 2022 with a degree in mathematics and moved to Raleigh to work for Pennymac, where she was quickly promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager. Patrick soon followed her to Raleigh, and they were married on May 2, 2025. Undoubtably, Megan’s wedding day was the best day of her life. They loved each other deeply, and their union was a blessing to witness.
The Lord Jesus Christ was and is Megan’s ultimate joy. She loved to praise and often listened to worship music during her runs. Above all, she was an outward beacon of God’s everlasting love. She selflessly served and adored her family, her friends, and all who knew her. During her life, she remarked that Heaven would be a crowded place, and her aspirations were perfectly aligned with the gospel: that everyone would come to know Christ and accept the gift of salvation into their lives.
Megan will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Patrick, her parents, Brian and Joan, and her brother, Justin. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Rob and Angela, her siblings-in-law, Katherine (Ben) and Julia, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including Addie, Ashtyn, and Ginna. She is predeceased by her grandparents, James and Jacqueline Beck and John and Audrey Cocuzza.
