Mike was good man and very good friend of mine. The island life suited him so well, I have my memories hanging out with him on the beaches in Hawaii. Rest in peace my friend.

Mike and I were good friends in high school and I remember him as very outgoing always smiling. I regret not seeing him after high school and finally saw some posts of him and his daughter on Facebook just a few years ago. R.I.P. my friend!

Of course we spent a lot of time together growing up - my sister was married to Mike’s Uncle Frank. One of my favorite memories - I was walking in Waimea Canyon on the island of Kauai when I looked up and there was Mike - what a wonderful surprise. I hadn’t seen him in several years so it was extra special 💕

When Mike met our daughter, he commented that she reminded him of Ashley when she was little. He always showed me any pictures that he had just taken of Ashley! He was one proud papa of all of Ashley's accomplishments whether it was high school graduation or grad school!! We dearly loved Mike and he was loved by so many!!

Another memory that I have is that my husband was going through being diagnosed with Bladder cancer at the same time Mike was in 2016. They had the same oncologist, Dr. Boles! Mike and Lee would compare notes each Sunday morning!!! My husband, Lee, went to heaven on June 26th, 2016.

Mike was born April 16, 1948 and Lee was born April 21, 1951.
