A stunning beauty, Nancy was an accomplished seamstress and a fierce competitor on both the tennis court and the ping pong table. She was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John Thomas Newman V and James Bridger Newman; one sister, Marianne Newman Racker; and former husband, William Green Dudney.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Ann Dudney of Raleigh, NC; and Marianne Dudney (Steve) and granddaughter Jade Thomas of Montgomery, AL; and sister Helen Newman Aman (Gene) of Raleigh, NC; as well as 11 nieces and nephews.
The family extends love and appreciation to Nancy Ann and Sylvia for their loving care over the years.
Arrangements are being made for a private memorial service.
