Nina Bailey Hunt

Nina Bailey Hunt, 68 of Trenton, went home to be with her Lord on January 20, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1942 in Raleigh, NC to the late Alpheus and Fannie Bailey.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Preston E. Hunt, Sr., of Trenton, NC; sons, Preston E. Hunt Jr. and wife Louri of Raleigh, Jason B. Hunt and wife Allison of Wilmington, NC, and Joshua R. Hunt of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Andrea H. Rogers and husband Gary of Trenton, NC; sisters, Gertie Potter and husband Bobby of Zebulon, NC and Shirley Hicks of Fuquay Varina, NC; grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Chenault, Dalton and Paris Hunt; step-granddaughter, Renee Osborne and husband Doug; and great grandchildren Ahava and Isaac Osborne.

Funeral service will be Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the interment at the funeral home.
