Peggy managed a Cameron Village, children's clothing store "Elizabeth Knipes" in the 1950's where children were often used as"Live Models" in the store front windows. She went on to dress many of these same children as adults while working at Nowell's Clothing Store in the ladies department until the age of 85. Many of her customers and associates remain faithful friends to this day.
She adored her daughter, Debbie, her grandchildren, Kim and Jennifer and her great grandson, Zachary. Her precious dog, Pearl never left her side. We will all miss her kind words and caring nature.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie Glover, her granddaughter Jennifer Dykes, husband John, and her precious grandson, Zachary.
She was preceded in death by her by her granddaughter, Kimberly Glover Holton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Meals on Wheels-1001 Bider Drive Raleigh, NC 27603.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm on Thursday January 31 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary's Street. A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home at 11:00am on Friday February 1, 2019.
