Omer Clyde (O.C.) Melton, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2014. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki (Les) Hunter of Charlotte, NC and Malinda (Steven) Vagasky of Apex, NC; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Shaw Melton, son, William Clyde, and daughter, Laura Allison.
A celebration of O.C.’s life begins at 1:00pm on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh. Visitation and service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Longview United Methodist Church, Raleigh, NC or Hospice of Wake County.
