Patsy Hanson Sanders Coleman, 57, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Born on January 17, 1953 in Nagercoil, India; she was the daughter of the late Charles Newell Sanders and Nancy Heuser Sanders and wife of the late Danny Coleman.
Patsy was a receptionist with Williams Mullen Law Firm for over 13 years. She loved her children and family and had a special kindness for animals.
She is survived by her daughter: Elizabeth Coleman, of Raleigh; son: Chuck Coleman and his fiancé Jessie Raffaele, of Raleigh; three brothers and their families: Newell Sanders, wife Cathy and children Andrew and Emily, all of Forest, VA, John Sanders and wife Cindy Booker, of Palmyra, VA and Dixon Sanders, wife Connie and son Geoffrey, all of Forest, VA; by her mother-in-law: Lucile Pendleton, of Lynchburg, VA; and by other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday evening, March 23, 2010 at 6 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue). Family will receive friends following the service.
