Pegg worked at Glaxo Smith Kline, formerly Burroughs Wellcome and most recently retired from Wake Electric Membership Co-op.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Jay Goehring; twin sister, Pat Knox and her husband Frank; by her brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Carol Goehring, Melissa and Paul Figuerado and Harvey and Karla Goehring. She will also be missed by her dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and by her precious dogs, Toby and Addy.
Pegg is predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Art Whitney.
A Celebration of Pegg’s life will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 16, at the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue. Inurnment will follow in the mausoleum.
