Peggy Inge Cahall

Peggy Inge Cahall, 90 passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born November 3, 1934, in Raleigh, NC to the late Harry and Alamae Inge. Peggy was a lifelong resident of Raleigh. She was a devoted wife to her late husband of 57 years, a loving mother to her two sons and proud grandmother to her two cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Her family was always at the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Peggy worked for Bank of America formally known as Nations Bank for over 25 years where she was known for her dedication and kindness. In her later years, she especially enjoyed her frequent trips to Florida where she spent many joyful days with her grandchildren Hannah and Jack creating memories they will both carry forever. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to her family and the love she gave so freely.

Peggy is survived by her sons Mike Cahall, Keith Cahall and his wife Elaine; grandchildren Hannah and Jack; brother Lamont Inge and his wife “Sneaky.”

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Alamae Inge; brother Jack Inge, Sr.; and sisters Gloria I. Baucom, Callie I. Davis and Harriet I. Field.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11AM in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.
